Např. box-end desku v délce 520 mm může jezdec o výšce 150 cm považovat za streetovou desku, nicméně jezdec o výšce 180 cm bude tu samou desku považovat spíše za parkovou desku a to bez ohledu na to, že se jedná o tzv. box-end desku. Mnoho desek má jasnou příslušnost tj. Park deska nebo Street deska, u jiných desek to tak jednoznačné není. Proto se raději držíme jednoznačných kritérií odkazujících na tvar desky tj. Box-end a Peg-cut.
